JAAT BOY RANDEEP HOODA



Randeep Singh Hooda was born on 20 August 1976 in Rohtak, Haryana, India, to Dr. Ranbir Hooda and Dr. Asha Devi Hooda. He spent his most of his childhood with his grandmother as his parents travelled extensively. So he usually stayed away from his parents. His grandmother had a bitter nature which left him sad and upset all the time and he feels like all the time he is betrayed by his family.


2. Bratty Student



In an interview he told that he loved teasing his teachers and classmates. In his boarding school in Sonepat, he was known as Randeep Don Hooda due to his bratty nature.

3. His odd jobs



In 1995 he studied for a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business management and human resource management in Australia. During that period, he worked in a Chinese restaurant, a car wash, as a waiter and for two years as a taxi driver.

4. His debut


Hooda made his acting debut in Mira Nair’s film Monsoon Wedding (2001). Although the film was a critical and commercial success, Hooda couldn’t gather any fame or recognition. In 2005, Hooda was cast as the male lead in Ram Gopal Varma’s gangster film D. His performance in the film received positive reviews.


5. Personal Life





Hooda had a relationship with former Miss Universeand actor Sushmita Sen from 2004 to 2006. He later said ending their relationship changed his career; “The break-up was the best thing that happened to me and I realised that I gave it too much time in my life. It freed my energy to do things for myself.”

6. Pushing his own limits


Hooda is a kind of actor who pushes his limits every time to impress his audience. He played variety of roles and portrayed each of them with such brilliance. He is surely a great actor.

7. Main hobby




Hooda is fond of horses and even owns six horses. He loves his horse named Polo. He also participates in Equestrian events and has won 2 medals in horse riding events
